Orpheus Uranium Limited (ASX:ORP)

Project Portfolio

Orpheus has strategically built a portfolio of projects that have significant exploration upside and provide investors with exposure to Australia’s top uranium mining districts.

South Australian Assets

Orpheus has four key projects that are located in South Australia’s three most promising basins for sedimentary-style uranium mineralisation and proximal to known uranium deposits. Orpheus has now successfully progressed land access agreements and is planning advanced-stage exploration activities, including drilling.

Pirie Basin Project
Pirie Basin Project

The Pirie Basin Project covers 1,100km2 of one of the most highly prospective basins in South Australia and is adjacent to Alligator Energy’s (ASX: AGE) Samphire Uranium Deposit.

Frome Project

The Frome project comprises four exploration licences covering a combined area of 3,037 square kilometres and just 12 km west of the Goulds Dam Uranium Deposit, which is owned by Boss Energy Ltd (ASX: BOE).

Radium Hill Project
Radium Hill Project

The Radium Hill South project covers an area of 797 square kilometres and is located on the northern margins of the Murray Basin in South Australia. It is located approximately 20 kilometres south of the historic Radium Hill Uranium Field.

Maree Project
Maree Project

The Marree project is comprised of 3 early-stage exploration licences located to the northwest of the Northern Flinders Ranges Mount Painter Block, which is host to some of the highest potential uranium source rocks within Australia.

Northern Territory Assets

Mount Douglas Project
Mount Douglas Project

Orpheus holds strategic ground in the Northern Territory, within the highly prospective Pine Creek Orogen, in a geological setting similar to that of the Tier-1 Ranger uranium deposit (ASX: ERA). The company’s Mount Douglas Project is located in close proximity to, and shares geological synergy with, Patronus Resources’ (ASX: PTN) high-grade Thunderball Project.

Western Australian Assets

OOBAGOOMA PROJECT
OOBAGOOMA PROJECT

Orpheus recently acquired the Oobagooma Project, located on the northern margins of the Canning Basin in Western Australia. Covering an area of 271 km², Oobagooma adds a new dimension to Orpheus’ portfolio as it represents entry into a new jurisdiction. Although exploration activities at the project were largely limited to the early 1980s, historical work has recorded significant uranium intersections, highlighting strong exploration upside.
